Current Song: In Flames - The Quiet Place.
Bolded note: This was another from the same Snowman shoot, since I had said I wanted to take a Snowman photo from the previous entry, this is a second one for this entry. I thought it was epic, so there. Surfin' USA!
So I'm still up but I'm writing this as a reminder to myself. I'll continue it tomorrow.
Continuing now.
I went to bed, and was woken up shortly afterward by Bethy, sometime after 6am or so. She woke me up to tell me something fucking hilarious... There were people having sex in a room nearby, and apparently they were being very loud with it for about an hour or so. I didn't hear anything, and to be honest I didn't even remember this until she reminded me later on today after she woke up. So this is a bit out of order because I forgot about it, but this is what happened first so here it is. They were being really loud, and Bethy told me she pressed herself up against our room door to listen like a pervert, haha. She tried to tape it with the camera but I don't hear anything on the videos, I'll put them up if I hear something after I upload.
So I slept in until around 3pm, I woke up to mom saying she was going up to see Mary Beth. I said alright, and she left saying she'd be back later after she made phone calls. As soon as she left I got online and started being bored pretty quickly after checking my stuff. I tried texting Steph but apparently she was too busy to talk to me when she got it. Mom didn't get home until after 5pm, and when she did she pissed me off. She went to see that house in Fox Chapel without us, and she never told us that was what the plan was. She said she had to call to set up a time to view it, but when she was leaving at 3pm she said she was going to Mary Beth's. Instead she went to see the house and then went to see her. From what she said she really liked it, and plans to put the paperwork in as soon as I get my second set from Section 8. Now, I'm pissed as hell about her making the decisions for me, it's MY voucher, not HERS. She has no right to go and view a house and say we're getting it without every single one of us seeing it. But ugh, she wants it, and she says we'll like it, so the plan is we're going to see it when we drop off the paperwork. Fuck my life... As far as the paperwork, she also said she called Section 8 and asked them to mail it to the shelter where Mary Beth works, so it'll be a few days until we get it. Hopefully tomorrow, but highly doubtful. She explained the house to us a little bit, and what we heard we liked but that's not the point. I'm pissed she did it without us.
The house is at some intersection, in a nice area of this town I've driven past before, but never through. It's right off of 28, closer to where we used to live, and pretty close to Downtown Pittsburgh too. About an hour or so from New Castle which is also pretty good for us in case Steph needs to go back there to visit. It all sounds good, I just hated that she did it without us knowing, and without me there to make my decisions for myself. While I fought with her, I texted Steph to bitch about it... Bethy woke up in the process of all of this and we discussed it. Pretty much the same stuff I've already said. Mom, when she came up, she brought up the last of the pizza and we ate a little before we did anything. Bethy woke up when we were fighting like I said, and I showed the house after I had already seen it myself. It looks alright, but we're both skeptical about it... We can't see it until mom takes the paperwork, because the guy who is renting it lives directly next door. Which is another good thing about it, if something goes wrong he's right there to fix it. While talking to Steph, she was working with Roe and I said hello, shortly after that Roe got on and said Hi back, and that was really it for that. Other than me finding some free stuff on Slick Deals that I thought Steph could use for her Fish. She didn't seem interested, so whatever.
Mom called Nick, and then we were supposed to go to Giant Eagle to get some stuff. Mom forgot today when she was out, she went to the Goodwill in Cheswick, and just happened to find an electric skillet, which was a good thing! Hot Meals! YES! She should have thought about it two weeks ago, but it's better late than never I guess. She was going to go and find one the other day, she was supposed to go and visit this thrift store with Nick, but because she didn't go, he didn't either. She just decided to check the one close to here and found it, so her and Bethy wanted to go over to Giant Eagle to get some Hamburger Helper. I originally wanted to go to Family Video to see if I could rent a game for my Xbox 360. I had this idea that id I could find a copy of Dragon Age, or Fallout 3's Game Of The Year Edition, I'd be able to get free DLC from them if the employees were dumb enough to put them in the rental cases. Unfortunately, mom said when she came back the first time that the snow had just started up again, and before they were going to leave she wanted to check again. She checked and it was a lot worse, the roads were covered, and traffic was going really slow on the roads. She didn't want to take me, and they planned to walk to Giant Eagle. Downside was, Bethy laid down and ended up falling asleep on her bed. Leaving Mom to go herself, so I decided to go with her.
She decided that she was going to drive over to Giant Eagle, and she went to heat the van up while I texted Steph to tell her I was leaving. I went out and we brushed the van off and took off towards Giant Eagle. The windshield wipers haven't been working well, they're stuck again. They were stuck earlier last week when Mom went to Nick's for New Years, but he fixed them and now they're back to being stuck again. So we had to drive around with snow and ice covering the windows as we drove... She decided to go to Family Video first to my surprise, since she already said she wasn't going to. But we did, and I went in to look for a few games. First on my list was Dragon Age, which they had all four copies rented out. I checked for Fallout 3, but all they had was the standard copy so I couldn't use the bonus disk to download the add ons for free. They had Saw, and a few other games I wanted to get, and they didn't have Lips which I needed for some Avatar Clothes. I couldn't rent anything anyway because it appears the limit is 5 things out at a time, and we already have Left 4 Dead 2 and those four movies out. The only way to rent anything else would be to return something, and we have Left 4 Dead 2 until the 10th, and the movies until the 11th.
When were were done there, we left and went to Dollar Tree so mom could get some cooking supplies, she needed to get a spoon and a spatula. I sat in the van and she went into the store for a bit, and came back out with a few other things too. A bin for dishes that we could use to hold Ice and refrigerate things, and some antibacterial wipes for the phone since she's sick. Then we went to Giant Eagle. She asked on the way there if I was still upset with her about the house, and I said no, and explained myself. That I was upset because she never told me and Bethy, and that it was my decision and she made it without me there. I think she finally understood, but I don't know for sure. When we got to Giant Eagle, we walked around for a little while, and got some stuff. We got Hamburger Helper of course, but some Chips and Cheese Dip since I was craving it a bit. The last time I had it was at Steph's and I wanted some more. We also got some of my favorite Entenmann's Chocolate Frosted Donuts, and some Bran Flakes for me to eat since I did say I wanted to start eating healthier. She got Eggs and Milk too, along with Pancake Mix and Syrup. Checkout was fun, mom kept messing up the self-checkout computer. I'd scan it and she'd bag it, and then she'd hold onto the bag or the product that was in it. Yeah, never do that, it makes the computer all pissed off :).
After doing it one by one, and letting it sit in the scale under the bags to weigh it, it finally registered one by one and we finished. Paid and left, and went back to the hotel. I helped her lug everything we got inside, and she washed the skillet and the dishes and made dinner while I did some other stuff. We had to go down for Ice, and she needed to run out for the Cat Litter and the Cat Food to get it out of the van. I snacked on some Chips and Dip, and shortly after we had dinner, which was Cheese Steak Hamburger Helper. Had some Pepsi, and Steph got back home. I tried to talk to her about the house and what was a nice conversation progressively got a good ass kicking into being unpleasant. She had a bad day and way moody with me, and I didn't like it. But so goes life. She didn't really have any information on the house and I was trying to get an opinion out of her even though all three of us, Bethy included haven't seen it yet. It led to some altercation, aqnd I left her alone for a little while... And that was fixed for a bit as I told her more about the house, and provided a layout based on what Mom told me the Kitchen looked like. Since Steph was concerned about the Kitchen being all crammed up with the Washer and Dryer Hookups.
I told her flat out what Mom said as I asked her. First floor has the Kitchen and the Dining Room, but that Dining Room could be used as a Living Room, since the kitchen is big enough to have the Dining Room placed inside of it. The second floor has three Bedrooms, one of which being really huge, and then a second Living Room and a Bathroom. The third floor is an Attic like, but opened room for storage, or even a fourth Bedroom. The only downside to that is it has no electric or heat up there right now to occupy anyone up there. so it'd be used strictly for storage for now. That Dining Room on the main floor connected to a third room that we can't use, since the Landlord is using it as a work room. It's apparently older and antique looking, but we can't access it. We can lock it from the inside of the house though, which is also good for privacy reasons. She said she liked the sound of it, other than the Kitchen being crowded due to the Washer and Dryer. I could understand this, I thought it was a good thing but I don't really want that there I'm eating. But it's the only place for a hookup, and Bethy mentioned that's how it is overseas with it in the Kitchen. I asked mom to draw a layout, and she refused at first, but with the questions we kept asking her she finally did it, and I copied it and sent it to Steph. She said she liked the sound of it now, so that's good... I want to keep her happy with this house too, since she'd be living there... That is, if she still wants to...
She's having a bad day, and it upsets me because we haven't talked much the past few days. She's been reading a lot which is alright with me, but it's interrupting us having any type of conversation in the least. I want her to have her own time to do this, but with her work schedule and how we talk after work, it's not always working in her favor. I really want to talk to her, but she's in her mood and I guess it'd be better if I waited until she wasn't... As much as it sucks to do so. I love talking to her, and days like this really depress me and piss me off :(. She's currently reading, and I'm upset with her for how she's acting... But I'll leave her be. Speaking of pissing me off, when Mom was on the phone with Nick, she was laying on my bed. She's sick, and if I get sick, I swear to god I'll smack her upside the head. Especially after buying them damn antibacterial wipes :(...
Anyway... Like I said... I guess I'll leave Steph be :/ I really hate nights like this. I need to go out and take some pictures for this, but Bethy is my camera holder and she's watching The Uninvited right now. I'll get to it when the time comes I guess...
Two other quick things I wanted to mention were CAS 2010, in which Microsoft announced Game Room for the Xbox 360, which is their answer to Playstation 3's Playstation Home. You have a whole Arcade in which quoted from 1up.com:
Source: http://www.1up.com/do/newsStory?cId=3177527
Microsoft announced its Game Room yesterday at the CES keynote, but details of how the service will work are still coming out. While it's being widely seen as Microsoft's answer to PlayStation Home, the Avatars don't actually walk around their game space like they do in Home. On the other hand, this also means no waiting in line for arcade cabinets, which has been a point of frustration for some Home users. The Game Room itself is a free download, and will serve as a hub for the purchasable arcade cabinets. Microsoft is also pushing cross-platform play, letting players purchase Game Room items once and then play on both Xbox 360 and PC.
Once purchased, the titles will include online leaderboards and achievements, as well as online and offline multiplayer. Players can invite friends over to their Game Room to play, and the invitee can try a friend's game before plunking down their own MSP. The service will launch new games every week, and in addition to the 30 available at launch, Microsoft is aiming for over 1,000 titles over the course of three years. That's about six new releases per week.
The pricing, announced last night, is tiered by licenses. The 400 Point ($5) option lets players use a cabinet on both Xbox 360 and PC, while the 240 Point ($3) option is for just one platform or the other. If you only wanted to play on one platform anyway, you're in luck. The 40 Point (50 cents) option is said to provide "two quarters" of playtime. We'll keep you updated as we learn more about the service, set to launch in spring.
I really like the sound of it. I'm not sure how much I'd use it, but I'm sure if I had a few extra Microsoft Points laying around I'd give it a go. I love Retro titles since I get up with it mostly at it's early peak.
The other thing was my 50 in 52 Project which will go as follows. I will announce today 50 things I want to do this year. They can be completely random things that I've never done before, to completely serious things that I want to do that will inspire me and hopefully inspire someone else to do as well. And I'd have 7 days to complete one of them for the next 50 weeks. Hence 50 things in 52 weeks, the first week of the year will be used to announce them, and the last week of the year will be used to recap everything and how it was when I did them. The other 50 weeks in between will be used to accomplish these things I want to do. The list will be listed below, and quoted in later posts - This project will be added to my Blog based on when I do them. Some more hectic ones will need to wait until I am on my feet in a home I own, which would make them easier to achieve. Or, I guess what I could do is not do them weekly and just do 50 things in the next 52 weeks, cutting out the 7 day deadline. I think I might do that, just so I have more freedom over what I do and it'd make it easier to accomplish the tasks I want to finish. Then in 2011, I guess I can do it the way I originally intended, with the 7 day deadline per task. The list is as follows:
1. Visit the Ocean on a Vacation, and bring Steph and Bethy.
2. Donate Blood, and continue to do so regularly.
3. Exercise more, and also continue to do so regularly.
4. Donate to a charity, or a Toys for Tots program sometime this year.
5. Buy some canned food and donate it to a Shelter.
6. Donate old clothing to a Shelter.
7. Wear a shirt for a day that says Free Hugs, and give hugs.
8. Watch the movies that I have yet to watch (This one is to make Steph happy).
9. Forgive, and yeah, just forgive. I hold too many grudges, right?
10. Learn more about cooking so that way I can do full meals myself.
11. Eat healthier, and make it known that's what I want to do from now on.
12. Find minimum wage employment and work up to a career somewhere else.
13. Write more to the point where revisions make my songs make more sense.
14. Start to learn an instrument, preferably Guitar.
15. Returning the favor - Take Steph places once I have a job.
16. Do more around the house, to support myself and everyone's well being.
17. Study more about religions, mainly Wicca and Zen practices.
18. Do Yoga on Wii Fit, because I feel in the long run it can improve my posture.
19. Meditate to help my overwhelming stress levels.
20. Get a Tattoo, nothing real big, just something I want and like.
21. Get a lip piercing, since I've been wanting it forever now and never got it.
22. Try to associate and visit more with the family (Unlikely, but worth it).
23. Go fishing regularly, just to relax either alone or with company.
24. Learn Canning with Steph and her Dad.
25. Watch all three LOTR's Extended Cuts back to back in a single day.
26. Read Eragon, since I have yet to. Plus, read more.
27. Get back into Final Fantasy XI, and reach the level cap.
28. Visit Niagra Falls, on either side for the first time.
29. Kiss in Times Square at Midnight on New Year's.
30. Volunteer to help to get a free Disney Ticket. Then go to Disney.
31. Revisit Florida Keys, preferably around Halloween.
32. Help out for a day as a volunteer at a nursing home. (Depends on policy's).
33. Get back into Youtube video making, and photo taking.
34. Make a comeback happen for TCCS.
35. Get more information on going back to school for Criminal Justice.
36. Somehow, someway, get Joe's ass to America to get drunk together.
37. Go to more concerts that we want to go to.
38. Get my license.
39. Get a car.
40. Get a house (Which should come first at least).
41. Have a wonderful Christmas with gifts for everyone.
42. Cry when I need to, instead of bottling it inside.
43. Work on forming a better relationship with Mom.
44. Fix my cats, and get them their shots and tags.
45. Finish the games I've bought and never played or finished.
46. Go to Moraine State Park and camp with Steph, Bethy, and Mom.
47. Do something spectacular for the ones I trust and love.
48. Visit Jack, Ronnie's, and my Father's graves on Father's Day.
49. Build something. Anything.
50. Take Shorin No Toro classes for Sword fighting.
And +2, just to have some fun with it... Be a Yes man ;)... CONDITIONALLY at least... And learn more about everything I can...
I'm sure I can think of more, and probably make a lot of them better, or even do better ones than those I have listed. But that's what I got, and what I have. One thing I failed to mention is that Mom put a down payment on the phone, and she keeps calling Nick. She said I can't call Steph, but Nick isn't local... Unless they consider local Alleghany county. Who knows, but she said I couldn't call Steph. I'm tempted to try though <.<...
But that's about it, we're going to watch Paul Blart: Mall Cop so... Later!
Simple edit: After watching that, we were up for a while playing some Left 4 Dead 2. We decided to go out and take the pictures of the Snowman out back, which is why these days have been updated with the pictures. Some highlights of the night were when we walked into the first floor hallway, where I just blurted out it smelling like Stinky Butt Beef. That's become the new phrase we used to describe something haha. We tried to decapitate the Snowman, but all that came from that is it toppling over, and me hurting my left wrist and right foot. Ugh... We need to go back and kill it tomorrow. Video of it below! Viewer digression is advised ;).
Camera died so we needed to stop and do Part 3 tomorrow :(... Damn it. And uh... One more thing that happened was we had a nice night making stupid products. Some that come to mind are Stinky Butt Beef Jerky, Balls Cough Drops, and Juggie the Snuggie ripoff.
Quotes of the night:
- "Stinky Butt Beef! If you're not fucking it, we are!".
- From the makers of HALLS Cough Drops, comes BALLS! - "I love sucking on BALLS all day long. It makes my cough go away, it just makes me gag a little".
And no unfortunately we didn't hear anyone having sex this morning, I went to bed at 7:30am or so.
That's all :)!
Catch you on the flip :).
