[Ky/365 - Project 2010]

A 365 project.

Current Song: Skillet - Hero.

Bolded note: No, this isn't a snowman I made, it was here at the hotel since New Years, and I finally got around to seeing it. Picture uploaded, w00t.

Ugh, talk about one of those eventful and annoying days, you know... Those ones where you just want it to end? Or at least get to the point where those around you who made you irritated get the hell off your back, and sleep or... Walk the other way or something. Yes, that was my day today. I've been in a bitchy mood all day mostly, geared solely towards my Mom.

Bolded Note: Thanks to Steph for helping me spell that correctly. There are some things Penn Hills High School didn't fucking teach me ;).

The reason for this has a few things that played out throughout the day, and I'll try to bunch in all together. But you know me, I ramble on and on about things. Hell just look at my previous blog posts this year to get a hint at what I'm talking about. Hopefully after reading the previous 5 you aren't blind... Because we got another 360 to go.

Anyway, I went to bed late last night, as you could tell in the note at the bottom of my last blog entry. I got woken up by Bethy and Mom at like... 11am today. I didn't get much sleep, and more so, if we needed to go and see that house at 10am I would have not been up to do it. The good thing about this is the lady who owned it, called us at 8:30am to reschedule it for 3pm. Which indeed lined everything up perfectly with the 4pm showing at the house a few blocks away from there. Firstly now, that phone call woke me the fuck up, and that really really wasn't something I wanted this morning. I was pissed about that, but went back to sleep. And as I said, they woke me up at 11am, what for you ask? Breakfast. They wanted to go to Breakfast.

I rolled over and mumbled "Ugggggghhhhhhnnnnn" under my breath, like I'd normally do when people wake me up for something I'm inevitably unprepared for. I wasn't too enthused or happy about this, so I stayed home and asked them to get me something when they went out to eat. The plan was they were going to Kings for Breakfast, then they asked me what I wanted. I said I wanted their Beefy Mushroom Meatloaf dinner, because I love it so much and it's generally the usual thing I always get there. They acted so surprised when I said that, which is odd because I normally eat whatever I can find for breakfast. See, I've been known to eat Pizza or other random things for Breakfast just because I'm hungry. Hot Sausage, Tacos, you name it I've ate it for Breakfast. Well... Mostly, at least. But they were so damn surprised with me asking for it, but said okay and were getting ready to leave anyway. Mom then mentioned getting Denny's instead, because for one it's closer, and two, they have actually more to offer for Breakfast. I was annoyed because I wanted my damn Meatloaf, that when Bethy asked me what I wanted from Denny's (Because apparently she wanted to go there instead), I replied with "I want my fucking Meatloaf" Haha... So they got ready and left, I confirmed my order - Meatloaf, Broccoli Soup, and a Reese's Sundae. When they left, I got up to talk to Steph for a bit.

She was talkative for a little while, but she was at work. And here I was expecting her to be in at Noon today. That was confirmed wrong when she told me she was working on Fish Tanks. Our conversation slowly died, so I knew she was probably busy, or doing other shit. So as usual, I got bored, and checked other stuff before going to relax on the bed until my food arrived. Eventually they got back, and with rentals too, they went back to Movie Gallery to take Paranormal Activity back. They got a few new movies, which were Mall Cop, Trick or Treat, The Uninvited, and My Bloody Valentine 3D. But they brought my food too... And I had to wash a plate because I didn't want to put the Styrofoam Box in the microwave, these plates should have been washed already just to eat it... I mean hell, me and Steph did then when we were leaving to go to her place. Seriously? What the hell? But I went back into the bedroom and I cooked everything, pushing it onto the plate with a spoon. And the first thing out of my Mom's mouth was... "Hey, I got this Tracfone card, can you do it for me so I can get my minutes?". Um, sure, I'll do it for you, but after you guys just sat around in a restaurant for an hour or so enjoying a warm meal, let me finish mine before asking for any favors. I just snapped at her kinda, that upset me. I wanted to eat and be left alone, and boy was I a little bitch to her today. I couldn't help it, I was annoyed with her.

One thing that she mentioned to Bethy apparently, was a question "If you could get a house in either here, or Robinson, which would you pick?" And Bethy said Robinson, but that we're not at Nick's anymore. She doesn't want to go back, and I don't either. And Mom's reply to that was "You're not getting it. You're missing the point I was trying to make..." or something, which pissed us both off. She knows we don't want to go back there. And even if it's better for us to find a job, we don't want to. I hate him, I hate his Son's house. I hate the whole fucking situation there.

I'm. Not. Going. Back. Ever.

Stop playing both sides and think of your fucking kids for once why don't you? But she feels going back would benefit us more. Ugh, my Mom needs some help, seriously. When I snapped at her with the Tracfone card, she just kept asking me what my problem was, and I told her "Life, Living, and The Pursuit Of Happiness", and she actually asked me to explain it to her because she didn't understand it. And by then I just stared into the floor, and said I already explained it to you. She got pissed off, naturally, and left to go to see Mary Beth to make some calls on houses. Myself, being annoyed just bitched about it to Bethy when when Mom left. I sat there eating a pathetic excuse for a Reese's Sundae, in an even more pathetic container for it. Now, normally if you'd buy it and eat it at the restaurant, there would be a bigger amount of Ice Cream mixed into it, and less Peanut Butter and Chocolate Syrup. But this one was mostly the good stuff and less of the Ice Cream. Needless to say, I was highly annoyed with that - See the trend? I'm a very annoyed individual, ugh... I bitch too much. I ate almost all of it before I put it on the table and said I was done. It was too much Chocolate and Peanut Butter, and it was hard to eat after a while because of the big clumps all mushed together at the bottom. So I threw it out, wishing I would have went because it would have been a hell of a lot better.

I talked to Bethy for a little while, while doing stuff online. Messaging Steph in between the conversation. I eventually got bored because we weren't talking, and went to lay down while Bethy watched Donnie Darko, at least some of it until Mom got back. The showing was at 3pm, and mom got back at 2:55pm, go fucking figure. I was asleep, and was rushed out the door without a shower. Only solving it with a fresh pair of clothes, brushed hair, and deodorant, fucking lovely right? :/ They went outside to get in the van while I had to hurry up and get ready, the phone rang right as I was closing the door, probably the lady who was supposed to show it. She called earlier when I was dozing and asked Bethy if we were still planning on coming. What an annoying lady... We drove there on slick roads, and it was a housing plan along the river. When we got there, we thought it was the one right off the road... But we were wrong. Upon parking and meeting the lady, she took us down an alley along the side of the house we thought it was. Seeing as that wasn't it, what was already ghetto and run down got even worse. Turns out, this place has three separate houses connected under one roof. Three porches divided up, with three separate entrance ways. There's a shared yard, with what looked to be open to about 6-8 different houses to do whatever they wanted with. I could be over exaggerating but I don't think I am... It was a very small yard, with access to quite a few houses. Not to mention some toys and snowmen in certain places.

The house itself was run down too, barely any carpet inside, and it was very cold due to there being no heat since it was off. Come to think of it, I don't think there was any carpet at all. The rooms were relatively small, and the whole house needed lots of work. The kitchen was older, and the sink looked disgusting, as did the bathroom. It just looked like it needed lots and lots of repair. The only thing I liked about it was the upstairs bedroom, one of which had two windows that overlooked the river. And it was at a perfect height too, when you stood there, even at the window, all you could see the most of was the river. And with the snow, and the ice all around it looked so damn beautiful. That's the only thing I liked about it, there were two bedrooms on the second floor, and the third floor had access to another bedroom. We all didn't like it, but whatever.

When we were done there we drove around a bit and got some numbers on a few other rentals around that area. We also happened to stumble over a house my Mom found originally a few months ago. 5-6 Bedroom with a Pool, and a Garage, and he was asking #700. It was a beautiful house, but we didn't know if we could get it, and decided to write the number down anyway. It got closer to 4pm and we went to see the other house. We got there early, and there early and the person who was supposed to show it got there directly after we did. We thought it was going to be a woman named Jessica, but it was her husband Todd that was going to show it to us. When we got there it looked like a run down kind of neighborhood, with lots and lots of older houses and apartments, and some run down buildings. It didn't look like the greatest area, but we went to see it anyway. And I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. Now this house is a Duplex, with both the ground floor and the top floor being rented out right now. Unfortunately there was no key for the ground floor, so we skipped that and saw the second as originally planned. We had to go up a set of stairs, and the whole upper level was like a second floor ranch house. The living room was huge, the bedrooms were huge, the kitchen was huge. And most of all they'd accept Section 8.

We talked to Todd for a while, and he seemed interested and we seemed interested too. Him and his wife live by a win win type of attitude, and if you're good to them they're good to you. He said they'd probably let us move in for $500 a month with trash included. He just seemed so understanding, and answered our questions in a very nice and professional manner. Completely straightforward and honest as can be, I really was surprised. He said to give him a call and we can look into getting everything rolling with getting it. Where I liked it, Bethy and Mom had their dislikes. One being, it's a second floor home. Moving in and out of it will be a massive pain in the ass. Secondly, the pets won't be allowed up front until we basically prove to them we're good people. That came out kind of wrong, but he just wants to make sure we're good to the place, and able to pay him the rent and not mess with them in any way. Which is understandable, and the cats can stay at Nick's for the time being. He already said he would let Lucifer be there, and maybe we can get Dre there too. But Miss Bitch, probably not... I really don't want to get rid of her, but we might have to... As much as it sucks. We've gotten rid of three already, and I had to put one down, which was one of the hardest things I've ever had to do... I don't need to lose anymore, but if need be... I guess I'll have to.

I really liked the house though, I think we could be happy there. I can see the issue with moving the big things into the place, as that would be a chore. The furniture especially, and the big fridge my mom has in storage. Hell, even the damn entertainment center would be a bitch to get inside, and that's heavy as hell. I really want to get it, it was exactly what I was looking for, but they want to look at everything else before we finally decide. When we were done there we went to Mary Beth's to update her on the stuff we saw, and to try to make some calls. But it was closer to 5pm when we finally got there and she was getting ready to go home. So Mom has to go back tomorrow. We were getting ready to go home and mom suggested Little Caesar's Pizza for $5 per Large, so we went there and got something for dinner. We got three - Cheese, and two Pepperoni - And then we went to Community to get some Pop, which was Pepsi and Sierra Mist. Mom also stopped at Curves for Bethy before going to Community while she waited for the Pizza. When Mom went in for the Pop me and Bethy started having some fun yelling at people... And after a brief funny yelling out the window scene in the parking lot we went back to the hotel for the night.

We ate some Pizza, and tried to talk about the houses we saw. No one really gave any input except to say I criticize them for what they say when I ask about if they liked it. Which yeah I do, but that's only because we really need a place to stay at for now. We need to find a permanent address, and soon before I lose my damn mind. That is, unless I already did :/...

I was online all night talking to Steph after we got back. Mom talked to Nick, which makes me think she put money down on the room to call out, but I don't think she did... She hasn't said anything. But it's odd he just knew when to call, so who knows. She was on the phone with him and she started not feeling well. Her and Bethy went to sleep and I was on talking to Steph for a while after that. I turned the heat on for them and just sat here playing zOMG while I talked to her. I got myself a 5k badge for OMG's which leaves my final count at 15 left to obtain, and I stopped playing after I got the OMG one. Mom and Bethy both woke up, and Mom felt like shit, Bethy and me begged her to go to the hospital but she reluctantly refused to, saying she felt better when she obviously didn't. Stubborn bitch, I'll tell you. We begged and begged and she just sat there wheezing and saying she was fine. When she was asleep she woke up barely able to breathe so this is retarded, and she always does this when she's sick. She said she didn't want to go because it'd just be another bill to add to the mix. Which yeah, she's right, but come on now... If you're sick, you're sick. Haha that rhymed and it wasn't even intentional. She decided to go down to talk to Nick, and ask him what he thinks about it, and basically me and Bethy took it like... If he says to go, she'd go, which I know she would because that's how she is. She doesn't listen to us, she listens to everyone else, and that factors into every single decision she makes in life. Me and Bethy talked for a bit after Mom left the room, Steph wanted to go and read since she wasn't feeling up to sit in the chair at her computer any longer. So she went and read her book and I went to play Left 4 Dead 2 with Bethy for a bit, letting Steph do her own thing until she wanted to sleep.

Mom eventually came back and said she wasn't going, and it just continued and continued. It pissed us off further, and we asked if she wanted to watch a movie. She just sat on the laptop and said Bethy got the DVD's for her and me to watch, and that was what the plans was, and that she doesn't need to watch them because she got them for us. Ugh, talk about a stubborn jerk eh? Then she started on the Pizza, because the Pizza was still in the room here and not being refrigerated, and I said I'd run it out. Bethy got so annoyed with Mom that she just decided to run it out herself. And I got lectured by Mom for not doing it, ugh... Thanks Bethy, but mom can be a jerk sometimes.

We played for a little while and unlocked some more Achievements, and then Steph called me and we talked for a little while before she went to sleep. Me and Bethy played some more, and unlocked a few more before she decided to watch a movie. I talked her into getting some of the Avatar Awards, and we did that only to have her get online afterward. Still, I got a few more Achievements for us, and then she asked to watch a movie. I said no, because I was dozing getting the Achievements for us, and said we could watch one tomorrow. I wanted some Ice for the Pepsi I wanted to drink, so we walked down to the Ice Machine to get it. The weird thing about this walk was that I looked out of the peep hole before we left the room, and one of the room doors adjacent to ours was opened. When we went out room 217, 227, and 228 were all unlocked and had fans blowing into them. We didn't know why at first, but I figured it was because of the "Flood" that happened a few days ago. We were thinking of running in and stealing some pillow, blankets, and sheets because they don't have the ability to wash them right now. The guy who owns the building still don't want to fix anything. And the Housekeeping people have to keep going to a local laundromat just to wash sheets and towels because of it, pathetic really, huh? But we got back, and she is now sitting here watching Trick or Treat as I type this, which was on I really wanted to see. She seems to be enjoying it, apparently some girl in the movie got killed with a lollipop... Doesn't get any better than that I guess.

But that's all of my day in a nutshell. I know I need to take a picture, I have one in mind but it needs to wait until morning to do it because it's dark and cold outside. Hopefully it'll still be there when we wake up haha. Tomorrow we're supposed to go and see a house in Fox Chapel... So here's hoping it looks nice, otherwise I like the other one I saw today better. Who knows, I probably still will like it better. Decisions decisions...

Ah well... Catch you on the flip.

And yes Steph, you're one of my minions ;). One of my VERY SPECIAL minions.
