Current Song: Saliva - How Could You?.
Being off and on all night, I had a shitty time to sleep... I did however, wake up refreshed as odd as it sounds. I got out of bed at 7:30am, and I sent Steph a text to see what was up with her. I knew she had an appointment today that she needed to go to, and I remembered she had to wake up earlier. I just expected her to reply, but she didn't until it was sometime after 8am, and her appointment was at 8:45am. We talked a little before she needed to go, and then I got bored and watched Fox News (I hate them, but they were the only ones really talking anything good right now). They were reporting about the events in Haiti that happened the other day, that massive earthquake, and just watching this stuff really makes me sad. I feel bad for everyone there, and if it was anything like Katrina they should open volunteer work for different agencies so that normal citizens can go and help out. I wanted to go when Katrina hit New Orleans, but my ex wouldn't let me go. This time, at least I'm with someone more understanding, and if they open up the volunteer work Steph already said she wouldn't mind me going as long as she can come with me. I'll keep checking to see if anything opens up, in hopes something does. They need more help there, and I'm more than willing to go and do it.
First before I continue, I want to put this on my blog for those who might read it. If you're reading this and would like to donate to the Haiti Relief fund, you can provide $10 to the Red Cross by texting "HAITI" to 90999. The $10 will be billed to your cellphone bill, and it's for a good cause. If anyone reads this, please consider it, it's for a very very good cause. Thank you.
Mom woke up at 9:20am, and we got to talking about the house, and how we're tired of waiting for news about it, and the key. Growing trend with my blogs, eh? Always bitching or talking about things that we want to happen that haven't yet. Must be pretty depressing and annoying to read this, but nonetheless I hope you continue to do so. Mom went had a cigarette and Bethy woke up shortly after that.. Really all that happened today is we talked about the house more, and we had to call Mary Beth to see what was going on. Steph got home from her appointment and we talked for a while, since I needed some help blogging about the other days I spent with her. Then I ran into a movie screening for Extraordinary Measures for the Waterfront on th 19th... It's in the planning stages, but we printed tickets out to go. I had to run downstairs to the Front Desk's Computer Lab when Steph went to work and printed them there, and I got 6 printed :). Mom called Mary Beth around Noon, and she said she would call and let us know. As usual, we spent the whole damn day waiting and never getting a call... We called back around 2pm, and got her voice mail and mom left one. We got a call back, but it wasn't from Mary Beth, instead it was the Front Desk here calling with a complaint, apparently some people walked near the room and smelled the litter box from the hallway, and they called to make us clean it. That's the problem with this room, I did it a few times now, and Mom just lets it get really bad while I'm gone. She went and complied with it, and cleaned it out and put new litter in. First complaint EVER in a hotel. Mom then went to sleep while we waited, and Steph called at 3pm or so when she was on break. We talked for a little while, and then got off the phone in case Mary Beth called us back. Phone rang again sometime around 3:30-4pm, and it was Nick and not her again... Pissed me off. He was on for about 10 minutes with Mom, with the plan being to pick her up today to go back to his place, they're supposed to be getting me a bedroom set tomorrow afternoon somewhere near Downtown. I'm grateful I'm not going, I don't want to have to lug it right now, it's an older one and very heavy, so they have to do it themselves. I'm a little jerk :/, not to mention I don't want to go back to see Nick... Ah well...
Mom woke back up after 4pm, and we tried calling her back repeatedly, to no avail. All it gave us was a voice mail, and we left a few messages. We need to know what she's planning on doing, as there's a holiday Monday and she might not be working, and Monday is the last day we're supposed to be here. And as far as we're concerned, we have no idea what the fuck we're doing because she dosen't know how to return anyone's calls. She's helped us out with the house dearly, but this is pathetic, you need to call people back when it's important... You're really bad with doing that. I ended up rolling over and dozing back off, and Mom and Bethy were going to get some groceries since she decided on leaving finally... She they went, I bitched Mom out before that because she was asking me if I was going, and she said some stuff about the house that just irked me. One being eating upstairs, I planned to have the ability to eat in my living room and apparently she doesn't feel that's a good idea. I like to have table meals with family and friends and everything, but sometimes you just want to relax and eat while you watch a movie or a program on the TV... She doesn't like that idea, and is bitching about it, and how this room looks. That she hopes it doesn't look this bad when I get my house. I think I want a microwave in my living room, to make it easier on going up and down the steps. Or maybe not who knows... She doesn't want anything up there I guess, that's her deal, but it's my house and if it's what I want, fuck off.
Like I said I dozed off, I only vaguely remember this evening. I remember turning on the AC by my bed, and turning it off shortly thereafter. Apparently they came back and tried to wake me up to eat something, but I just slept. I didn't wake up until 10:30pm when Steph called to see what I was doing. We got to talking, but she was in an odd mood and wasn't as talkative as I would have hoped. We decided to get off the phone and go and make something to eat, since she was still hungry from earlier... While I was still on the phone Bethy rolled over and was up the entire time, and we got to talking about the food they got, and that there was a kidnapping at this hotel Thursday morning. Here's some information on it... Shocked the shit out of me for sure.
Police Take William Hudson Into Custody After SUV Wreck In East Liberty
POSTED: 5:17 pm EST January 14, 2010
UPDATED: 3:45 pm EST January 15, 2010
PITTSBURGH -- A man accused of kidnapping a woman and leading police on a wild chase through two counties went before a judge on Friday morning.
Police said William Hudson faces more than two dozen charges after he allegedly kidnapped a 30-year-old Arnold woman from the Clarion Hotel in New Kensington early Thursday morning.
The chase apparently started when the 34-year-old Hudson was spotted driving on Murray Hill Road in the New Kensington/Arnold area. Pittsburgh police picked up on the pursuit as it came over the Highland Park Bridge and moved through the Lawrenceville, Stanton Heights, Garfield and East Liberty neighborhoods.
"Later in the day, we received a call that the girl may have been abducted by her boyfriend," said New Kensington Police Detective Sgt. Dennis Marsili.
Police originally said Hudson forced the woman from his Jeep during the chase.
"We were also told that earlier in the pursuit, the victim that was allegedly kidnapped was thrown out of the vehicle during the pursuit," said Acting Cmdr. Kevin Kraus.
However the victim's mother told Channel 4 that she actually pulled her daughter to safety.
The victim involved was being treated at a hospital for unspecified injuries.
Police said Hudson's Jeep hit four vehicles, including three police cruisers, before he was arrested.
Hudson was taken into custody after his green sport-utility vehicle crashed into a police car near the intersection of North Negley Avenue and Rural Street, about a block north of Penn Avenue, Greiner reported.
On Friday, skid marks were still visible on the road where the pursuit ended.
Police said one man suffered minor injuries after the Jeep struck his car.
Channel 4 Action News' Jon Greiner reported Hudson may have been trying to reach his mother, who lives nearby.
"No, no, he didn't kidnap no girl. That was his girlfriend," said mother Michelle Hudson.
Police confirmed that the woman was Hudson's girlfriend.
Police said Hudson's vehicle rammed into three police vehicles during the chase -- two from the city of Pittsburgh and one from O'Hara Township.
No officers were injured, police said.
Gina Hickman said her husband was injured when Hudson's Jeep came into the area.
"He was driving, but he moved out of the way, and then the guy broke through the barricade of the police and ran into him," Hickman said. "He said, 'Oh my God, they're going to hit my car, and that's all I heard because his Bluetooth fell out of his ear."
Hickman added that her husband was OK "for the most part."
Police said Animal Control was called because a vicious dog had to be removed from the suspect's vehicle.
"There was a pit bull in the car. We had to call animal control. The dog appeared to be pretty violent and we were able to get him out of the car without anybody being injured," said Kraus.
A woman who knew Hudson said she ran up to him after he was arrested.
"He was telling me they beat him up and he was bleeding from the head. He was telling me to get his dog, get his dog, they were going to kill his dog," said the woman.
Hudson faces charges of fleeing and eluding, multiple counts of recklessly endangering another person and aggravated assault against police officers, as well as kidnapping-related charges in New Kensington.
Hudson is being held in the Allegheny County Jail on $900,000 bond.
Because of this, we're not doing anything alone even though the threat appears to be over... I went out to the van with Bethy, and got some Chimichanga's and a Spaghetti-O's from the bags and came back up to cook. Bethy got some Ravioli and Spaghetti-O's, and a few Burritos to eat before we came back up. When we did... Me and Steph talked online for a bit, and Bethy stayed up to watch 1000 Ways To Die with me before going to sleep. Steph and me talked a little as we ate, before she called me when she was getting ready for bed. We talked a little and then she went to sleep and here I am just sitting here typing this up. Mom's at Nick's, she never called us but she's supposed to be coming back tomorrow after getting the furniture. I checked some stuff online and happened to win the Mafia Wars Lottery at 3am, I got a piece of the Lotto Collection :) Which is good, I need 4 more. Other than that, I donated to the Haiti fund on Mafia Wars earlier by purchasing an item they made to sponsor their donation fund. I'm considering doing two more, one for Texas Hold'em and the other for Gaia Online, but I don't have a job right now or much money to work with, which is why I'd rather go down and volunteer. I'm not sure what will happen with that, but I'm hoping something opens up, that's something to do for a good cause... Hopefully something will enable us to.
That's about it kids, pictures will be posted when I upload them. Catch you on the flip, have a nice night.
