I got woken up at 4:30 to Bethy waking me up telling me to go upstairs because my legs were probably hurting. Boy wasn't she telling the truth, her assumption was dead on, my legs fucking hurt from laying here on the chair. I went upstairs and laid down on the bed after taking my jeans off to put shorts on. Fell asleep and slept like a rock for a while.
I woke up at 2:30, came down, said hello to Bethy, Mom and Nick. Went to the bathroom, came out after washing my face since my eyes were bugging a bit. Got the tea out all sluggishly, still tired though I slept. Came in the living room and talked to Bethy as she started Urban Legends: Bloody Mary on On Demand. I watched some cool deaths in the movie, and drank my tea as she watched it. I went in and talked to Mom about the houses we saw, and what happened while I slept. Apparently the one in Lawrenceville won't accept pets, and she has to go and see her in a week for an appointment for application (Which would be Wednesday the 10th), security deposit, and first months rent. Don't know what kind of pets will be allowed, but this bummed me out because I want to keep the cats, we might keep looking. We continued watching the movie, and since Nick was in his bedroom, me and Bethy decided to talk about the pet thing. We didn't really get to talk about it... Mom was in the kitchen and said she thought Stephen was home. Stephen apparently took Lisa to the hospital because she's not feeling well, and he just got back around 3pm. When they got in they said the snow is picking up, Mom said last night there'd be about a foot by tonight or tomorrow morning. Mom had to run outside to do some stuff, or get some stuff out of the van, she went out and came back inside. Pretty sure she went out to get pain pills because Lisa wanted some because she didn't feel good. She took them and went upstairs with Stephen to lay down for a while.
Nick and Mom started making dinner, Hot Sausage, mmm... I loooove Hot Sausage, one of my favorites. They spent some time in the kitchen talking, Nick's seeming to be all over her again... Which kind of pisses me off... They went and laid down while me and Bethy continued to watch Urban Legends, then Steph texted me and said to call since she was on her lunch break. I called Steph at 3:30pm, we talked about her day, and last night, and how Mike is on a war path. at 4pm we watched Kickin' It Old School, fire siren went off for the third time. This movie looks fucking funny, here's a scene that I loved.
I went and worked on my blog a bit, adding to older entries because I fell behind a bit. Had some cookies, watched Bridget Jones with Bethy. The snow continued, everything's covered, supposed to have a foot by tomorrow morning. It just looks like it's the type to bury everything outside... I'm worried, I hope everything's alright and the power doesn't go out. I got addicted to this Halo Legends game on Facebook, it's a sweepstakes and you collect cards to unlock art and videos. Spent time redeeming codes for it to unlock random cards, and Steph texted me her schedule. She's off Sunday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Hopefully the snow dies out by then :/. Mom came out and started cooking some stuff to go with dinner. At 5:22pm fire siren went off again, fourth time today, fucking ridiculous. Apparently I got banned from a guild on Gaia this morning for lack of activity, and I just rejoined. I was banned again within about an hour or so for the same damn reason... This is fucking juvenile. They have way too many people in charge of doing member cleanups, and this is fucking retarded. Someone deleted me, then someone else deleted me... What kind of half assery is this shit? At 5:47pm Got on zOMG, then at 6pm the Guild issues were fixed and readjusted, I commented and PMed them and everything fixed up shortly afterward. Someone deleted me, and then when I was re-added someone else was going through the list and deleted me thinking I wasn't already deleted. Big mistake, but they made it right, I said I would be more active. Now normally I just say fuck it and just join guilds because I want in them, but because I plan to stay active with them. This was one of those cases where I needed to promise I would, so fuck it, I will.
At 6:15pm Bethy went and got her shower. We ate dinner at 6:30pm, Hot Sausage and Mashed Potatoes, then I watched Family Guy at 6:45pm. Bethy got out of the shower at 6:50pm. We both watched The Simpsons at 7pm. Then Mom came in and talked to us, Bethy didn't want dinner and wanted something else because of the Hot Sausage being too hot with Cayenne Pepper. They talked about it and Bethy didn't want to be a burden to Mom, so she said nothing right now, maybe later. At 7:50pm We watched Somewhere In Time, which was originally just Bethy but she talked Mom into coming out of Nick's room and watching it. So I watched it with Mom and Bethy until it ended. At 8:09pm the damn fire siren went off again... 5th time... Fucking bullshit. Then at 8:35pm I got into this big thing with Mom and Bethy... I don't know what the point is with the houses anymore, and I'll go into detail on it. Basically Mom is now saying it's My voucher and that I made my mind up on Lawrenceville and I'm not changing it. It's bullshit, because originally we got into a fight about me saying it's my voucher, and that I'll pick the house. And when I said that originally she got all pissed off at me for it, saying I was being selfish and shit. And then for a while we all made the decisions together. Now it's like just because I loved the one in Lawrenceville, they both did a 180 and figure I made my mind up, and I'm dead set on getting that one. That's not the case, and while it's my voucher, we'll all be living there together for a while. Why can't we make the damn decisions as a family, instead of you both rubbing it in my face that I made the decision by myself. I didn't decide anything, all I did was say I fucking liked it and wanted it, that's not a guarantee, it's an observation.
But I got annoyed with it, and then Steph got on, we talked for a while, I sent her the videos of the apartment. The damn lights went out at 8:53pm right in the middle of the transfer... Then they came back on a bit later. Stephen and Lisa came in and sat in the living room watching TV with Bethy and me, they put on Space Cowboys, when originally Stephen wanted to see how Left 4 Dead would look on his new HDTV. Stephen got up and walked around, Bethy and Lisa finally talked about things together, they're clicking which is good. Mostly about Emily. Stephen's kids were supposed to come, but aren't coming because of the snow storm, they're going to come next weekend. I tried restarting the transfer to Steph, but it kept fucking up. Eventually, it worked after a series of me doing log offs and logging back on. She had to do the same... It worked, and we got to talking about her working with Brian and that I was worried about it. I don't really like the fact there's a guy working there with her, which it's typically a female work environment... Either way :/. Then at 9:16pm power went back out, the storm keeps knocking it out and making the lights flicker, then go out, then come back on. When it went out it knocked the cable out, and the internet along with it, and the phone. Stephen spent the next 45 minutes trying to find a splitter for his TV upstairs, and trying to fix the cable for the TV in the living room. When the cable was fixed at around 9:40pm, he sat down and watched some more Space Cowboys with Lisa, Bethy, and me. This must have just been antenna based TV, because everything was still out.
At 10pm Stephen asked about the internet and he put it back up for us, by going upstairs and resetting the modem. Now everything was back up because of it. Got online again, talked to Steph, transferred the files back over so they finally finished. We talked about Brian and her, and that I was worried. She assured me I had nothing to worry about and even told me everything they talked about. I can't help but worry though... I played zOMG while she watched the videos for the apartment. I got a new zOMG badge 10:35pm, leaving 15 left to obtain. 13 kill badges, and 2 event ones. I got the one for Laceback's in Dead Man's Pass, yep... Finally. She finished the videos and then she said it was a decent looking place. She didn't care for the sink or the counter space in the kitchen, but overall she said it looked decent enough for us all to live in. Then we talked more about Brian and his anti-religion thing. Apparently he told her to watch this series of videos on Youtube about Truth of Religion, which Steph did watch and recommended it to me because they were interesting. I figure I'll watch them, but I don't want to right now. Sometime later on probably. We talked about Elder Scrolls Morrowind and Oblivion, which Steph desperately wants to play now because of Sean Bean being one of the voice actors in it. I also talked to her about things she plans to do - She figures if she gets a refund back, she'll get a Ps3 when and if she gets her refund from the government. I took some time and told her which models do what, and I linked her to backwards compatibility lists, and specs for the models.
Next thing right in the middle of the fucking conversation... The lights had a brownout at 11:18pm, and Stephen said because it was a $200 router he was going to cut the power to it for tonight. Everything died... The cable, the internet, and the phone. I had no way to talk to Steph, so I had to text her. I texted her from Mom's cell a little and she said she was going to watch some TV. I said I loved her and figured that the internet might be back up in a bit. Stephen and all of us went in the kitchen and looked outside, the ground is covered, the whole place is a mess, everything is covered in snow. We probably have a foot at least, the parking lot looks higher. Stephen gave us light sticks to use in case the power goes out, apparently he probably gets them from work. They last 8-12 hours depending on the one you use. Stephen and Lisa went to bed, Nick went into his room and watched some TV, or listened to music. Mom, Bethy, and me went in the kitchen to talk about the house stuff... I got mean with them about not listening and said I wanted to talk as a family. They figured I was being mean about the houses, and that was because of earlier. We talked for a while and weighed the pros and cons, and figure tomorrow we'll call the one in Robinson and set up an appointment for me to see it and see if he'll go a year lease instead of his desired month to month. Plus, Wednesday Mom needs to go and see the lady on the one in Lawrenceville, with an application being done on Wednesday with me there... And probably Security Deposit if we decide to take it. She said when she called earlier and talked to the land lady, her son owns it. And they had to throw a lot of people out of that plan for them tearing the place apart and pretty much trashing everything. And they apparently kept on whispering of throwing people out, and his Mom whispered to him saying that we were white. I guess it's a racial thing, most of the people in that plan are black, and I can guarantee the ones that lived there destroyed the property. That's why they were fixing it up, and more so interested in renting to us it seemed.
While we were in there I had Hot Sausage since no one else wanted any, this makes my third this evening, which I ate while we talked. Mom went to lay down with Nick, and Bethy and me decided to play Left 4 Dead. Mom came out and went to the bathroom and then went to bed. Me and Bethy played Blood Harvest on Normal together, then we switched it to Expert, and we got to Chapter 3 and played until 3:30am before she went to sleep. I got on and played some Mass Effect 2 finally. Wish the internet was up so I could download all of my extras. I played the opening, and messed with the chat options and different character creation presets before deciding to do a "fuck it all" run-through without my DLC. I played for about 45 minutes before getting tired and I stopped and decided to backlog my blogs to post tomorrow. I did that and kept Mass Effect 2 on while I did, I ended up dozing a bit, so I shut it off and decided to crawl into bed upstairs. So I did since I was falling asleep... I don't remember when I went to bed for sure, but that's what happened. I was highly impressed with the game, I just wish I had the first one and I wish I had the internet to download my pre-order bonuses.
Fuck I hope I can talk to Steph tomorrow... :/... I hope.
