Woke up at 4pm, came downstairs after a series of on and off again sleep, with some weird dreams.
Came down, Mom hasn't call any houses yet... Because I'm sleeping. Yep, that stupid fucking excuse again, especially after knowing we only have about a month to find a place.
Me and Bethy watched Stephen King's Desperation, I texted Steph to tell her I still haven't asked yet... She feels like shit, her allergies are acing up.
Nick came out and was talking to Mom in the kitchen. He started making burgers for later, leaving the meat patties in the fridge.
4:42pm Mom finally made some calls, the guy is showing one tomorrow in Brookline, and she got the answering machine for the one on Freeport
5:00pm Asked Mom about Steph, she went to ask Nick, Nick said Stephen and Lisa were at the movies, and we can't call them even if they have a cellphone.
And then he pushed about the no calling, because he's trying to establish a point we've already known... Moron.
5:10pm Nick said to pack for tonight, you can come tonight, but because Stephen isn't here, we don't know if you can stay for a few days.
Mom went on her big kick... We needed to get the dirty clothes and take them into the laundry room for her to wash. As usual, she engraved this in our minds repeatedly, annoying us.
5:30pm Steph told me she wasn't coming tonight, go figure. Her dad needs her tomorrow morning to fill out a check for something, so she can't come.
5:42pm Nick's messing with the stove, making me nervous... Also annoying, click click click click click... Click click click click click.
Me and Steph stopped talking for a bit so we could cool off about the situation. Started talking again at 6:35pm.
Mom and Nick are like close again, which pisses me off... Because they weren't, and now it's like they're friends again. Spent time in the laundry room washing clothes and making it stop hop around the floor.
At 7pm, The Tommyknockers came on, it's a three hour mini-series for Stephen King airing on Sci-Fi. So me and Bethy are watching it.
Decided not to watch it, and watched 24 instead. Went to get Lasagna, and Throwback, Bethy had a Snack Pack. We're both hungry and want to eat, Nick's busy with the washer. Supposed to make burgers tonight, but won't until Stephen and Lisa get back.
Stephen and Lisa both have to work tomorrow, Stephen is returning to work after a month off.
Stephen and Lisa called and said they were on their way home, and that they forgot to get the buns for the burgers. They needed Mom and Nick to run out to get then, and Stephen and Lisa got back when we were halfway done with 24.
After they got back, Mom and Nick left to run to Giant Eagle to get buns, I asked for a Nutragous and Bethy wanted a Kit Kat... We needed Sweet Tea, and Bethy wanted some Fruit Popsicles.
When 24 was almost over, they got back and Giant Eagle was closed, so Mom and him needed to go somewhere else to get the stuff, they got us the candy though.
After they got back they kept cooking, and I texted Steph when 24 was done and we talked a bit. Her dad went to sleep and she had the TV, so she decided to watch He's Just Not That Into You.
I had to go and charge the laptop, and Bethy and me started watching The Bourne Ultimatum while we waited for dinner, I still texted Steph.
Called her at 9pm, then we got cut off when Cory called and I had to click over at 9:15pm, then we got off at 9:28pm so she could finish watching her movie. Plus because I felt the conversation pretty much drift into nothing, so I figured I'd let her go and wait for dinner to be done.
Dinner was done at 9:30pm, Nick never said we could come in and eat, and then said we better come in and eat or he'll feed it to the cats. Me and Bethy both agreed that we liked it better when he wasn't talking to us.
Ate two burgers and fries, watched Bourne 3 with Bethy, and she asked me about playing ODST later on. Steph and me feel like we're not really clicking with any conversation, so I plan to go upstairs and call her later with no distractions... I feel like we've been limiting our conversation, and not really talking too much with each other the past few days. Things just seem weird, like we're talking but we're both on another planet when we do. That's not a good thing, so we're going to lay down and talk a bit.
Steph got online at 10:04pm, and we talked for a while. I went in and got another burger and Stephen and Lisa went up to bed. When I went in to get a burger there wasn't any bread so I figured I would just eat the burger by itself. And Mom and Nick both said "Bread? Here's some"... This bread was older brad we used at the hotel, so of course I didn't want any of it. Instead I said no thanks and ate my burger without it. They kept saying I could have some, and I just walked away saying I was good.
Came back, talked to Steph while I ate it haha.
